Like most parents, we spent way too many evenings scrolling through kids' content wondering — is this actually good for them? Ad after ad. Loud characters pushing toys. Videos clearly made for clicks, not kids.
We wanted something different. Content we'd actually feel good about putting on. So we built it ourselves — right here in Richmond, BC — with one simple rule: if we wouldn't show it to our own kids, it doesn't go on Aura.
Every video on Aura is crafted with care and personally vetted by us before it ever reaches your family. We're parents. We get it. And we're not going anywhere.
We started Aura because we care about kids — not just our own, but all of them. That means we couldn't build something for families without finding a way to give back to the ones who need it most.
That's why we're planning to donate $1 from every new paid subscription to a children's hospital foundation right here in BC — so the kids who need it most aren't left out.
